Where We're Going!!!

Treasured Chess and artist Subbora Jackson have been selected as 2026 GROW Artist Residents at the Greensboro Cultural Center. From July 7 through August 17, 2026, we will present the Intergalactic Chess Café & Art Gallery, an immersive experience where art, chess, storytelling, and community come together in a universe of imagination. Throughout the residency, visitors can explore interactive art installations, create artsy chessboards and wearable art, participate in treasure hunts, enjoy theatrical performances, learn chess strategy, and contribute to collaborative community art projects.
